When working in civil engineering, the position and the course of existing pipes and ducts are not always known or clearly documented.
Often, during diggings, considerable damage to cables and pipes is caused, which entails high repair costs.
The use of LTS locating systems makes the finding of non-metallic pipes much easier.
The application areas of the LTS locating devices cover all areas of civil engineering, for example drain and fresh water management, cable laying or drainage and landfill work.
The new LTS route tracking systems are nearly identical in their technical details. They differ only in their respective feed cable length.
Extreme push stability at small bending radii
The feed cable profile of the LTS systems consists of a special combination of a glass fiber core with integrated copper wires and polypropylene protective coat, which combines the pushability of a rigid bar with the flexibility and small bending radii required in practice. This is why the cable feed can be carried out quickly, simply and precisely by hand, even in complicated, clogged pipe systems.
With the universal LTS locating systems, point locations - for example, for localising defect points in pipe systems, such as cloggings, lowerings of pipe pieces, etc. - as well as complete line locating for the determination of pipe runs can be carried out.
All LTS systems are equipped with a slip-ring transmitter, which allows the probe cable to be fed even when the transmitter is connected.
The LTS route locating system has a compact, built-site supporting frame as well as polypropylene-coated glass fiber cables with integrated copper wires, ø 4.5 mm. Final control reel, connection box with sockets and pins for two transmitter connections as well as a protective lacquered steel tube frame with reel, ø 400 mm.

ATTENTION: The respective locating function is only possible in conjunction with a commercially available transmission unit and a receiving unit not included in the scope of delivery (see recommended accessories) which can send or receive a frequency of 33 kHz.
